The CPU-PASSC Dagway Club successfully conducted Sining sa Nayon 3.0 under the theme, ĢƵAni ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting,ĢƵ sharing the clubĢƵs diverse talents with the Grade 1ĢƵ6 students of Badiang Elementary School.

Sining sa Nayon 3.0 stands as a heartfelt testament to what the Provincial Student Council of the College of Arts and Sciences can achieve when artistry and service intertwine.

Sining sa Nayon 3.0: A Day of Living Art

Last Friday, February 20, 2026, at Badiang Elementary School in New Lucena, Iloilo, the atmosphere transformed into a gallery of sound, play, and color. Sining sa Nayon 3.0, with the theme, ĢƵAni ng SIning: Katotohanan at Giting,ĢƵ became an immersive experience where art was taught and lived.

Through a series of art workshops and engaging skill-building activities, students were given the space to express themselves freely. Each interaction and each creation formed part of a larger narrative, where the event cultivated a unique harmony where the rhythm of the community met the mission of the university.

Advocacies and Vision

At its core, Sining sa Nayon 3.0 is a reflection of Dagway ClubĢƵs commitment to true artistry and community engagement.

The initiative carries three core advocacies:

Sustainability, emphasizing that art can be both enduring and purposeful. The customized guitar serves as a lasting resource, ensuring that creativity continues to flourish within the community long after the outreach has concluded.

Cultural continuity, preserving and celebrating heritage through artistic expression. By integrating visual art with music, the project honors tradition while encouraging new interpretations from younger generations.

Youth empowerment, nurturing the courage and creativity of young minds. Through exposure to art and music, students are inspired to explore their identities, build confidence, and dream beyond limitations.

Sining sa Nayon 3.0 envisions a future where communities and institutions move together in harmony, where every act of service becomes a seed for growth, and every artistic gesture becomes a story worth remembering.

As the echoes of Sining sa Nayon 3.0 gently settle into memory, the project extends its purpose far beyond the event, leaving a sustained imprint on the community.

The Handumanan Guitar

In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Arts, the Dagway Club proudly introduced a sustainable initiative, one that extends beyond a single day of outreach and into the enduring rhythm of community growth.

Gifted during Sining sa Nayon 3.0 on February 20, 2026, the Handumanan Guitar embodies the projectĢƵs commitment to sustainability and long-term artistic growth. Carefully designed and hand-painted, the instrument reflects a harmony between tradition and innovation, where visual storytelling meets musical expression.

Among the key proponents behind this initiative was the Dagway Club, whose members poured both intention and artistry into the creation of the instrument. Each stroke of paint carried meaning, as it became a vessel of heritage and hope. More than its physical presence, the guitar serves as a living memory that invites students to explore their creativity, nurture their talents in the different forms of Dagway art. It stands as a bridge between generations, connecting the rich cultural heritage of the past with the boundless possibilities of the future.
