University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy delivers the welcome remarks during ĢƵCPU & U: Together, We EXCEL! 2.0ĢƵ held on April 15, 2026, at 1:30 PM via Zoom teleconference.

ĢƵ (CPU) held the second run of its digital college exploration initiative, ĢƵCPU & U: Together, We EXCEL! 2.0,ĢƵ on April 15, 2026, at 1:30 PM via Zoom teleconference.

Organized by the Office of Institutional Advancement ĢƵ Student Recruitment, the virtual program is part of CPUĢƵs sustained commitment to adapting to the digital age and widening access to higher education information through strengthened online engagement. The activity gathered Grade 10 to Grade 12 students from both public and private schools within and beyond Region VI, providing them with an overview of the UniversityĢƵs academic programs, campus life, and student opportunities.

The program formally opened by the reading of house rules by Asst. Prof. Rae Leong-on of the College of Business and Accountancy.  An opening prayer was led by Rev. Dr. Francis Neil G. Jaland-on, Director of the Office of Communications, followed by the Philippine National Anthem presented through a recorded video courtesy of CPU TV Channel.


Attendees during ĢƵCPU & U: Together, We EXCEL! 2.0ĢƵ held on April 15, 2026, via Zoom teleconference, take part in a photo opportunity together with CPU members following the successful conduct of the event.

University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy welcomed the participants and expressed hope of seeing them join the Centralian community. Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate welcomed the students and acknowledged their participation in the event. She also expressed hope that they would consider pursuing their studies at the University.

Student Recruitment Officer Atty. Nestle G. Taala introduced CPUĢƵs academic offerings and opportunities for incoming students, while CPU Republic President Ms. Jellian Ganda shared her student experience.

An open forum followed addressing questions on student organizations and scholarship opportunities, allowing participants to further engage in discussions on university life.

The program concluded with a closing prayer led by Dr. Dimpna C. Castigador, Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement, and the CPU Alma Mater Song played via recorded video through CPU TV Channel.

Building on its initial run in November 2025, ĢƵCPU & U: Together, We EXCEL! 2.0ĢƵ continues to strengthen the UniversityĢƵs digital outreach initiatives, ensuring that prospective students remain informed, connected, and guided toward joining the Centralian academic community.
