Congratulations to the four CPU CPUGAD TBI startup teams: PackUp, TaxiBuddy, RidA, and OHMies NeoPark for advancing to the Top 10 of DICTĢƵs Philippine Startup Challenge X Regional Pitching Competition. To God be the highest glory!
Four (4) student startup teams from ĢƵ (CPU), supported by CPUGAD Technology Business Incubator (CPUGAD TBI), have advanced to the Top 10 of the Department of Information and Communications TechnologyĢƵs (DICT) Philippine Startup Challenge X (PSCX) Regional Pitching Competition.
The competition gathered a total of 83 innovative entries from talented student teams representing 23 participating schools across the region. Among them, all four startup teams from CPU stood out for their creativity, innovation, and strong market potential:
- PackUp ĢƵ SuppliPack
- TaxiBuddy
- RidA
- OHMies ĢƵ NeoPark
These teams will pitch their innovative startup ideas during the Regional Pitching Competition on October 24, 2025, competing for a spot in the national finals and the opportunity to represent CPU and Western Visayas in this prestigious nationwide startup event.
The four startup teams reflect the growing culture of innovation nurtured within the universityĢƵs ecosystem. PackUp and TaxiBuddy are promising outputs of the CPUGAD TBI Startup Bootcamp, Central Launch, and have since been incubated under the TBIĢƵs N³ Incubation Program. Meanwhile, RidA and NeoPark trace their roots from the Technopreneurship 101 course, progressing through Central Launch and advancing with further training under the WEN Ignite Program of the Wadhwani Foundation, before also proceeding to incubation under CPUGAD TBI.
These achievements highlight CPUĢƵs strong support for student-led innovation through CPUGAD TBI, a nurturing hubĢƵor ĢƵpugadĢƵĢƵfor aspiring technopreneurs. By bridging classroom learning, incubation, and industry collaboration, CPU empowers students to turn ideas into impactful startup ventures.
