CPU SHS ignites the sports spirit with the successful KalaHAWK One-Day League tryouts.
The ĢƵ (CPU) Senior High School Student Council successfully held the ĢƵKalaHAWK: The One Day LeagueĢƵ tryouts last August 3, 2024, at the University Gym Volleyball and Basketball Court. The event served as a scouting ground for potential athletes to represent the school during the upcoming University Week.
Spearheaded by BM for Sports and Health Rod Ivan Ortega, with the support of the Senior High School Provincial Council, Kawaning Lawin, and LawinĢƵs Production, the one-day sports fest attracted a total of 18 teams ĢƵ three for Volleyball Girls, seven for Volleyball Boys, and eight for Basketball Boys.
The competition saw intense matches as aspiring athletes showcased their skills and teamwork. The following teams emerged victorious and will be represented by their respective team captains:

The successful conduct of KalaHAWK is seen as a promising start for the CPU Senior High SchoolĢƵs sports program, with hopes of producing future athletic stars.
