Students paired up in helping clean up the campus.

CPUR officials, LGUs, and Organizations and Fraternities work together to clean their designated places across the campus as they participated in the first ever Central Pair Up Clean Up activity as part of this yearĢƵs valentineĢƵs day celebration last February 14, 2023.

According to CPUR President, Danz Rasheed Quimba, the said activity aims to maintain the campusĢƵ cleanliness, and to provide a safe and healthy community for all especially to the students of the university as they transitions into the limited face-to-face education set-up.
ĢƵAs I have observed since we started the limited face to face classes, maybe at a lack of habit during the pandemic, some of our students leaves their litter of trash on places where we gather like the classrooms, gazebos, study tables, and other areas. The Office of the CPUR President decided that we need to reintroduce the practice and value of volunteerism among our students especially the LGUs and the Organizations and Fraternities,ĢƵ Quimba said.

He also added, ĢƵWe would want to revitalize the spirit of camaraderie and fellowship among the LGUs and Organizations and Fraternities that is why it is called Pair Up, Clean Up. It is also a help in maintaining the University clean and green which makes it even more conducive for learning.ĢƵ

Quimba also expressed his appreciation to all who participate in the said activity. ĢƵIn behalf of the Republic, I am grateful to the efforts of the LGUs, the Organizations and Fraternities, and some of our volunteer students who lend their time to help in the clean-up. The success of the clean-up resides on our ability to maintain it. I am thinking of making this event a regular one to achieve our goal.ĢƵ

The ĢƵPair Up, Clean UpĢƵ is the first among the many activities prepared by the CPUR to celebrate ValentineĢƵs Day.
