Congratulations Roselle Miñez, for exemplifying academic excellence and faith-driven success in the national CTT examination.

In a testament to her faith, hard work, and academic preparation, Roselle Miñez, a 2014 graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program at ĢƵ (CPU), has secured the 4th spot nationwide in the JuneĢƵJuly 2025 Certified Tax Technicians (CTT) examination. The announcement was made by the Philippine Association of Certified Tax Technicians, Inc. (PACTT) on July 17.

Miñez was among the 1,165 successful examinees out of 1,901 candidates who took the exam from June 28 to July 6 across testing centers in the country. Alongside this achievement, 338 examinees also qualified for a Diploma in Taxation as part of PACTTĢƵs certification process.

A native of San Jose, Antique, Miñez traced her academic roots to St. AnthonyĢƵs College, where she excelled both in academics and extracurriculars. Inspired by her brother and driven by her love for mathematics, she pursued BS Accountancy at CPU. During her time in the university, she balanced academics and sports, becoming a consistent DeanĢƵs Lister and an active member of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) Volleyball Team, while also representing CPU in interschool tournaments through the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA).

ĢƵI was also just an ordinary student striving to meet passing grades and to graduate,ĢƵ Miñez shared. ĢƵBut the strong foundation I received from CPU helped prepare me for the CPA Licensure Exam and, more recently, the CTT.ĢƵ

Now working as a Finance Manager, Miñez recognized the value of deepening her expertise in taxation. ĢƵTax plays a significant role in business decisions and financial strategy,ĢƵ she said. ĢƵTaking the CTT exam was a way to enhance my contribution to management.ĢƵ

Despite juggling professional responsibilities, church commitments, and travel, Miñez carved out time to prepare for the exam. ĢƵI joined the free weekend review sessions offered by PACTT and focused intensely during the final week before the exam using their manual and AmponganĢƵs Taxation Reviewer,ĢƵ she recalled. ĢƵI work best under pressure.ĢƵ

But even with focused preparation, she did not expect to land in the top ranks. ĢƵI was extremely surprised and deeply happy,ĢƵ she said of learning her result. ĢƵIt was truly the work of God. I didnĢƵt pray to be among the top passersĢƵjust to pass. My strength and peace came from my relationship with Jesus.ĢƵ

Miñez expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, especially her parents Natalie and Ariston Miñez Jr., and brother Ariston III, as well as her friends, including Jonnamae Manaois and Rizza Mary Sajonia. She also credited her D-group in CCF Church and her sisters in Christ Bible Study group for spiritual support.

She recognized her CPU professors and mentors as instrumental in her success. ĢƵThey were knowledgeable, approachable, and provided the guidance that shaped my technical and critical thinking skills.ĢƵ

For Miñez, the achievement goes beyond academic recognition. ĢƵThis is a testament to GodĢƵs faithfulness. It reminds me that with Him, all things are possible.ĢƵ

Professionally, she sees the CTT certification as a stepping stone to expanding her expertise in tax consultancy, compliance, and accounting services. She also plans to pursue further certifications in finance, cost accounting, and payroll.

To aspiring CTT examinees and fellow Centralians, Miñez offers heartfelt advice: ĢƵKeep Jesus at the center. Study hard, but donĢƵt rely solely on your own efforts. Pursue excellence not for personal glory, but to honor God. In His perfect time, He will reward your faithfulness in ways beyond what you can imagine.ĢƵ

Roselle MiñezĢƵs journey is a powerful example of how determination, grounded faith, and a CPU education can lead to national recognitionĢƵand more importantly, to a life lived in purpose and grace.
