CPU marks a significant step toward educational excellence and global quality standards as it successfully completes the Stage 1 Audit for ISO 21001:2018, conducted by TQCSI Philippines on June 10Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ“11, 2025.
CPU marked a significant milestone in its pursuit of Exemplary Christian Education for Life (EXCEL) and institutional quality as it successfully underwent the Stage 1 Audit for ISO 21001:2018 Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ“ Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) on June 10Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ“11, 2025. The audit was conducted by TQCSI Philippines, with Ms. Lorali Ann Beltran serving as the external auditor, and TQCSI’s Country Manager, Ms. Gloria Olaivar as remote observer.
The Stage 1 Audit involved a comprehensive review of CPUÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ™s documented information, operational readiness, and conformity to the requirements of ISO 21001:2018. Ms. Beltran assessed the University’s management system framework, including strategic direction, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and alignment of educational objectives with learners’ needs.
Following the two-day evaluation, CPU was officially recommended for Stage 2 Audit Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ” a testament to its institutional preparedness and strong commitment to quality education.
ISO 21001:2018 is an international standard designed for educational organizations. This standard includes processes for system evaluation, continual improvement, and assurance of conformity to learner and regulatory requirements.
CPU is currently ISO certified under the 9001:2015 standard. The transition to EOMS reflects the UniversityÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ™s dedication to continuous quality improvement, outcome-based education, and stakeholder-centered services. It aligns with CPUÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ™s goal to be a globally recognized institution that nurtures excellence and character development within a Christian-based framework.
