Active members of the CPU Symphonic band performed during the ValentineĢƵs Day mini-concert in CPU.

It was a memorable ValentineĢƵs day in the campus on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, because of the CPU Symphonic Band EnsembleĢƵs ĢƵSharing Love Through Music.ĢƵ As promised, a mini- concert was held at the gazeebo near the CPU Half-moon Drive in front of the Enterprise Building at about 11:00 in the morning until 12 noon.

Symphonic Band Master (Saxophonist) Asencion ĢƵIcynĢƵ Bautista started performing with 3 of Kenny GĢƵs favorite instrumental songs; ĢƵIĢƵll Never Leave YouĢƵ, ĢƵForever In LoveĢƵ and ĢƵThe MomentĢƵ with his saxophone.

Archie Velez, (Saxophonist) Former member and lead alto of the 3rd Infantry Division Phil Army Band/ Combo; Wind Instructor of Yamaha School of Music; Band Instructor of Queen Heaven Mission School of Tigbauan and Band Director of Sun Yat Sen High School played one of Elton JohnĢƵs favorite, ĢƵCan You Feel The Love TonightĢƵ, The BeeGeessĢƵ ĢƵHow Deep Is Your LoveĢƵ and 3 Tagalog songs. USA Band Flutist Timoteo Tomas Salvilla played the sentimental song ĢƵBeauiful in WhiteĢƵ.

The CPU Symphonic Band Ensemble includes -for vocals and guitar, Fervince Benoman and Mary Heart Castor; Lady LR Golero for violen and vocals, and Joshua Alibocboc for Keyboard. They performed the pop songs; ĢƵToreteĢƵ, ĢƵTime after TimeĢƵ and ĢƵA thousand yearsĢƵ with four other Tagalog hits.

The consistent practice and performances in CPU and other places made the CPU Symphonic Band and Ensemble ĢƵexcellent performersĢƵ. Prof. Crista S. Huyong, Director of CPU Cultural Affairs Office said ĢƵI am looking forward to more musical performances and engagements like this, for the Symphonic Band which is under my department.ĢƵ
