We are excited to invite everyone to the Awards Ceremony for the ĢƵWhy I Love CPUĢƵ Video Contest! Join us as we celebrate the creativity, passion, and Central Spirit displayed in inspiring video entries from students, alumni, and faculty.
ĢƵ (CPU) is proud to announce the much-awaited Awarding Ceremony of the ĢƵWhy I Love CPUĢƵ Video Contest, to be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Henry Luce III Library Conference Room.
This highly anticipated event celebrates the heartfelt stories, creativity, and unwavering Central Spirit captured in one to one-and-a-half-minute videos submitted by students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Hosted jointly by the Office of Institutional Advancement and the Communications Office, the contest aimed to shine a spotlight on what makes CPU a special place for many.
With over a month of submissions and public engagement, the contest not only encouraged reflection on CPUĢƵs mission, vision, and core values but also brought the CPU community together in an inspiring digital celebration. Entries were judged based on content and technical quality, relevance to CPUĢƵs values, and audience engagement.
The initiative also featured a PeopleĢƵs Choice Award segment, where the CPU community and supporters voted for their favorite entries through likes and reactions on CPUĢƵs official Facebook and YouTube platforms.
ĢƵThe goal was to amplify the voices of our CPU family through creative digital storytelling while instilling pride in our identity as Centralians,ĢƵ said the Communications Office in a statement.
More than a contest, ĢƵWhy I Love CPUĢƵ served as a platform for the community to honor CPUĢƵs legacyĢƵits academic excellence, community service, international partnerships, and vibrant campus life. Participants shared personal perspectives that resonated with viewers and highlighted the universityĢƵs positive impact on their lives.

3rd Place ĢƵ Php 3,000
PeopleĢƵs Choice Award Winners:
