Rev. Dr. Francis Neil G. Jalando-on, Director of the Office of Communications at ĢƵ (CPU), served as the preacher for the Christian Emphasis Week (CEW) at Filamer Christian University (FCU). The week-long spiritual event, which gathered students, faculty, and staff, was anchored on the theme ĢƵImago Dei: Actualizing Our Divine PurposeĢƵ drawing from key biblical texts: Genesis 1:27, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Ephesians 2:10.
In his message, Rev. Dr. Jalando-on emphasized that we are all created by God, calling attendees to reflect on their divine purpose and the transformation that comes through Christ.
ĢƵWhen you face doubts about your worth remember that the Creator of the universe personally designed you! Your life has a divine purpose,ĢƵ Dr. Jalando-on remarked.
Attended by hundreds of Filamerians from different departments, as well as university officials, the CEW commencement reminded the Filamerian community of the nature of humanity and the important purpose each individual has in the world.

Rev. Dr. Jalando-onĢƵs powerful message resonated with the attendees, reminding them that their purpose is deeply spiritual, rooted in their identity as bearers of GodĢƵs image. His message of renewal and purpose through Christ was a central highlight during the Opening Salvo of the Christian Emphasis Week (CEW). He also spoke during the Faculty and Staff CEW convocation in the afternoon.
