CPU-CHM Faculty participate in the EMBERSPEC PMS Workshop.

ĢƵ College of Hospitality Management (CHM) and EMBERSPEC Property Management System held a webinar workshop on Google Meet exclusively for the Faculty of CPU – CHM Department on April 20, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 3:30PM. The program started with an opening prayer by Prof. Dianne Hope Pillen. Part 1 of the workshop was held at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Part 2 in the afternoon at 1:00Pm to 2:30PM.

The Resource Speaker, EMBERSPEC General Manager Clark Justine Ty presented global management system forms to the participants ĢƵ including hotel and airline reservation systems. He explained the Automated Data and Management information Systems used in International Tourism business.

Prof. Almajar who has worked as a Marketing Executive in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 2004-2010 also enlightened the participants with the objective of the workshop. He said that ĢƵThe objective of the workshop is to acquaint the participants on Property Management System (PMS), particularly on Front Office, House Keeping and Food and Beverage Management solutions.ĢƵ Almajar added that ĢƵThere is a need for the faculty to be exposed to the terms of the Industry and Property Management System.ĢƵ The faculty was apprised on new methods of booking guests and tourists.

CPU-CHM is fortunate to avail of the Webinar, at a time when the industry has started to gradually open wide its doors after the pandemic decreased the food and restaurants, hotels and resortsĢƵ impact to tourists in the country.
