The CPU Blood Olympics 2023 activity was launched on April 25, 2023 at the Alumni Promenade Concert Park (APCP) with the theme ĢƵShare Blood, Save LivesĢƵ.

The program started at 8:00 in the morning with an opening prayer and singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Dr. Teodoro C. Robles in his welcome address, encouraged the students and participants to be active partners of ĢƵ in its drive to share blood in order to save lives.

Leanne Jurisprudencia, RN, made an opening remarks–thanking the organizers, facilitators and the Red Cross campus organization for their support and participation in the launching program for the coming ĢƵBlood DriveĢƵ activities scheduled on April 27, 2023.

A brief overview of the event was presented to the participants. Jessa G. Advincula and Ralf Ian M. Ramos conducted an orientation of the so-called Pledge 25.

It can be recalled that on August 3, 2018 ĢƵ was awarded the Outstanding Blood Services Partner of the Year by the Philippine Red Cross-Western Visayas Regional Blood Center during the 20th Blood Donors Recognition & Awarding Ceremony held at the Iloilo Convention Center.
