Participants of the training gathered at the Immanuel Christian Fellowship.

The CPU Dr. Lucio Tan College of Hospitality Management (CHM) together with Signpost Philippines Inc. conducted a virtual training on Food Handling, Food Safety and preparation entitled ĢƵPagulikid sa KomunidadĢƵ on April 28, May 5, and May 12, 2021.

CHM Dean Prof. Ma.Medalla P. Baliao gave the welcome remarks and Signpost Philippines Inc. Director Mrs. Febie Ibojos expressed her appreciation to the College of Hospitality Management for spearheading the training.

A total of 41 residents from Brgy. West Habog-habog, Molo, and Bgy. Buntatala, Leganes were the participants of the said training which took place at Immanuel Christian Church, La Paz. They also learned food preservation and dessert preparation.

The training, which is one of CHMĢƵs community engagement programs aims to give the participants an opportunity to start their own business during the ongoing pandemic as well as assist in the needs of their respective barangaysĢƵ community pantries.
