On September 1-4, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Rea Angelica Villeza of CPUĢƵs College of Theology shared insights on ĢƵPreaching in a Digital CultureĢƵ at the 2025 TeachersĢƵ Academy: Focus on Homiletics, held at the YWCA Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Assoc. Prof. Rea Angelica F. Villeza, CPUĢƵs Chairperson of the Department Head of Religion and Ethics under the College of Theology, was among the featured speakers at the 2025 TeachersĢƵ Academy held on September 1-4, 2025, at the YWCA Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event was organized by the Association for Theological Education in Southeast Asia (ATESEA), in partnership with the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), focused on the field of Homiletics. The gathering highlighted the challenges and opportunities faced by homileticians in the context of globalization, the information technology revolution, and increasing polarization.

Assoc. Prof. Villeza delivered her lecture on ĢƵPreaching in a Digital Culture,ĢƵ addressing the dynamics of communicating biblical messages in an era shaped by technology and online platforms.

Other presentations included ĢƵDifferent Platforms of ProclamationĢƵ by Prof. Joas Adiprasetya of Jakarta Theological Seminary, Jakarta, Indonesia, and ĢƵProclaiming the Word for Such a Time as ThisĢƵ by Dr. Zaw Latt Aung, Executive Secretary of the Association for Theological Education in Myanmar.

Assoc. Prof. VillezaĢƵs participation in the 2025 TeachersĢƵ Academy shows CPUĢƵs commitment to excellence and its active role in international efforts to promote theological education and strengthen the global conversation on preaching.
