ChildrenĢƵs Month is an annual national celebration every November, aiming to raise awareness of childrenĢƵs rights and to cultivate the importance of the quality of support provided for the little ones.

In line with this yearĢƵs national theme, ĢƵBreak the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines,ĢƵ the second year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) students showcased a creative storytelling of Ed YoungĢƵs Lon Po Po, a Little Red Riding Hood Story from China on November 29, 2024.

The story was not only a surprise to the little tots but also a way to empower them through the storyĢƵs socially relevant theme. Songs, rhymes, and fingerplays were facilitated by BECED pre-service teachers who are currently deployed in the universityĢƵs laboratory school. The activities were conducted by the Gems in both morning and afternoon sessions and closed with the giving of simple treats to the young learners.

BECED Gems has been collaborating with CPU Kindergarten through various activities that continue to uphold childrenĢƵs rights. The organizationĢƵs various community engagements continue to celebrate the ĢƵGemĢƵ in each child.
