I recently spent a lovely afternoon with this little lady and her mama. The sun was shining, the flowers were blooming and the babies were smiling (this one, at least)! I followed along as mother and daughter read favorite books and played kitchen, and got a tour of the little one’s sweet nursery. These are just a few of my favorite moments…

Oh how babies grow in such a short period of time! I first met him before he left the hospital. A few weeks later his sweet little face has already changed, but he was just as good a sleeper for this session as the first. Wishing this mama an especially happy first Mother’s Day this year!
When I’m feeling thoughtful, I wonder what other families like mine are doing day-to-day. Sometimes I’m lucky enough to get a peek into their real lives. These two darlings are the same ages as my boys. I wonder what they are thinking about…
What two-year-old doesn’t want a Parisian Mustache party?
Inspired by all of my hipster wedding photographer friends, I added some pizazz to the our day of utter sophistication with some photo booth action. When not sitting for photos, guests adult-sized and mini enjoyed cafe music, fine cheeses, fresh fruit, buttery croissant, creme brulee and sparkling mineral water with a stunning view of a miniature reproduction Eiffel Tower (made of no less than 35 pieces).
